There are also a number of sites on the web that can lead you astray. That's why you need to always check out what you read with the Bible and always take what God says in His Word above the ideas and opinions of man. We offer several links on this website to Bible study resources that we can recommend to you. We hope that you will use these resources to help you study the Bible. Because we are interested in the study of the Scriptures, we encourage you to download and install the Online Bible. The Online Bible is available for Windows and Apple computers. The Windows version is free and there is a free "beta version" that is available for the Mac OSX. If you use a Palm Pilot, then we would recommend the Bible reader from Olive Tree. They offer both commercial and free Bible study software. For another good, free Palm Bible Reader check out Bible+ at palmbibleplus.sourceforge.net. If you don't want to install software on your computer or Palm you can use the Internet Bibles that will work right in your favorite web browser. The Linked Word Project, hosted by Bob Jones University, provides a database lookup to the Greek and Hebrew words keyed to Strong's Concordance. If you would like to compare various translations of the Scriptures, Bible Gateway offers a quick search lookup for many languages and versions. Maybe you would like to have the Bible read to you, or need audio assistance. Sermon Audio offers both text and audio resources for studying and hearing the Bible. You can download the mp3 files and install them on your favorite mp3 player to take with you, great for travel and those times when you when you just want to hear God's Word.
